The man of many voices and platforms.

Don Landry, as he is now known, graduated from KCSS in 1983 following five years of of hanging out at the plaza and playing video games. After being cut from the baseball team by a coach who obviously did not recognize his potential, Don was determined to, eventually, become Nobleton's most famous son. He was accepted at both the University of Toronto (Political Science) and Humber College of Applied Arts and Technology. He opted for the Radio Arts Program at Humber and graduated, with honours, in 1986, setting as his goal, to one day host a morning show in Toronto. While still attending Humber, Don earned his first full-time radio job, as an overnight announcer at CKBB Radio (now B101FM), in Barrie, Ontario. His disc jockey career took him to Ottawa and Thunder Bay before he began his "talk" radio career at CKSL in London, Ontario, in 1993. While there, Don earned Telemedia's "Sports Personality of the Year" award.

In 1995, he joined THE FAN 590, in Toronto. After two years as a swing - shift announcer, he was promoted to Morning Sportscaster in 1997. In 2000, Don was promoted, again, this time to Morning Show Host and as "The Coach" to Pat Marsden's "Wily Old Vet" Don has entertained an ever-increasing fan base for the past three years; witness his inspired impersonations of such diverse individuals as Homer Simpson, Don Cherry, Mike Tyson and Jerry Howarth. Over the years, he has covered many Toronto and national events and interviewed many of the top names in the world of sports. To listen to "Marsden and Landry" every morning is to be both informed and entertained. Don's unique brand of humour and insightful, probing questions reflect his audience's passion, not only for sports but the world at large.

Today Don lives in the same city that, every morning, wakes up to his program. His passions are curling, the CFL and Slo Pitch baseball. The dream never dies.
